JCP international bureau director meets with CPRF delegation

Japanese Communist Party International Bureau Director Nishiguchi Hikaru on May 28 met with two representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation at the JCP head office in Tokyo.

Nikolai Bindyukov, Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPRF, responsible for international relations, and Vladimir Nikitin, Chairman of the Central Audit Commission of the CPRF, were visiting Japan at the invitation of the Foreign Ministry of Japan. They are members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

In the meeting, Bindyukov explained CPRF policies and activities under the current political and economic situation in Russia.

Nishiguchi explained the tense situation in the Diet, including the wartime legislation, and JCP policies and activities. He also answered questions concerning the JCP position on globalization and the pending Japan-Russia Peace Treaty. (end)
