Fuwa returns from China

Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Fuwa Tetsuzo wound up a five-day visit to China and returned to Tokyo on the evening of August 30.

Before leaving Beijing, Fuwa met with Zhao Qizheng, director of the information office of the Chinese State Council and they discussed present Japan-China relations and related matters.

Fuwa also visited the history museum in Tiananmen Square. "I want to visit again because a retrospective exhibition of millennia of Chinese history was unfortunately undergoing renovations," Fuwa said.

Arriving at New Tokyo International Airport, Fuwa said, "It was the first time for me to discuss so many issues facing the two countries and the world." (end)
