The JCP share of assembly seats in Muko City coninues to be 33.33 percent, the highest in Japan.

The eight JCP candidates led the election debates by calling for policies favoring the interests of the 53,000 residents, including lowering the city's water rates (the highest in southern Kyoto) and improving the medical service system for infants.
