JCP puts up its candidates in all constituencies

Campaigning for the 43rd House of Representatives general election officially started on October 28 and elections will be held on November 9.

Japanese Communist Party candidates, joined by JCP Central Committee Executive Committee members, kicked off campaigning in major cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, for politics on the principle that "people are the key players" replacing Liberal Democratic Party politics. They also exposed the deceptive competition for political power between the LDP and the Democratic Party of Japan.

The JCP is putting up 47 candidates in all 11 proportional representation constituencies and 300 candidates in small electoral districts throughout the nation. (end)
