JCP ADOPTS NEW PROGRAM
The Japanese Communist Party 23rd Congress adopted its revised Program that will guide the movement for social progress in Japan with accurate analysis and alternative viewpoints of the prevailing currents in Japan and the world.

KOIZUMI FAILED TO ANSWER KEY QUESTIONS
Commenting on the Prime Minister's policy speech, JCP Chair Shii Kazuo said, "The speech was lengthy and empty. Mr. Koizumi failed to give responsible answers to people's anxieties and their needs."

2004 SPRING STRUGGLE TO CALL FOR A PAY RAISE FOR ALL WORKERS
The 2004 People's Spring Struggle Joint Struggle Committee adopted a policy of demanding wage increase for all workers in the Spring Struggle.
