It is wrong for the United States to justify the Israeli assassination of Hamas leader Rantishi as an act in "self-defense." It is an act of Israeli state terrorism and will only help increase the cycle of violence.

Disobedient workers are sent to a staffing agency and then transferred to another company for lower wages. This is a new way of cutting jobs IBM Japan tried to adopt as part of its cost-cutting restructuring.

COURT RULES AGAINST BELTWAY CONSTRUCTION
In a landmark ruling on April 22 the Tokyo District Court said that the construction of a new expressway circling Metropolitan Tokyo be canceled because it will cause unbearable air and noise pollution to residents.
