ON NEW UN RESOLUTION ON IRAQ
It is unconstitutional for the Self-Defense Forces to participate in the U.S.- and British-led multinational force which makes it clear that its mission is to fight against elements hostile to the coalition forces and Iraq.

CONTINGENCY-RELATED LAWS RAMMED THROUGH
"These laws are not intended to defend Japan against possible attacks from abroad, but to have Japan fully cooperate with the United States in wars based on the preemptive attack strategy around the world," JCP Secretariat Head Ichida Tadayoshi said.

CALL FOR DEFENSE OF ARTICLE 9
Public figures, including Nobel Prize winner Oe Kenzaburo, appealed: We call on everyone to unite to defend the Constitution and begin now to make every effort to stop the attempt to "revise the Constitution".
