JCP chair attends event marking Iranian revolution
Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo attended a reception at the Iranian ambassador's official residence in Tokyo on February 10 to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the Iranian Islamic revolution.
Shii congratulated visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi on the anniversary and said that the new JCP Program is proposing dialogue and co-existence between cultures as the way international politics should develop in the 21st century. He added that this century will not allow any country to label another country as a tyranny.
Shii talked with Middle Eastern, African, Asian, and Latin American ambassadors. (end)
