Murder-robbery in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture
A U.S. sailor on January 3 beat a Japanese woman to death and robbed her of money in a building in Yokosuka.

2005
Serial muggers in Yokohama and Yamato cities, Kanagawa Prefecture
A U.S. soldier with two accomplices on May 13 committed an attempted-robbery at the entrance of a Yokohama building. They dragged a woman around resulting in bodily injuries and tried to rob her of money and valuables. On the same day, they committed five other robberies in Yokohama and Yamato cities.

Taxi holdup in Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture
A U.S. serviceman on May 11 hit him from behind with a stick a taxi driver from behind on a street to rob him of cash.

2004
Attempted murder in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture
Two U.S. airmen on June 26 punched two men in their faces and heads with intention to kill them by brass knuckles in a Morioka parking lot.

Robbery and bodily injury in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo
A U.S. soldier on February 10 hit a shopkeeper in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo when he was found shoplifting.

Sexual assault in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture
A U.S. Navy sailor on January 17 raped a woman in a car at a Sasebo parking lot

Taxi holdup in Okinawa
A U.S. serviceman on December 14 took a taxi from the U.S. Kadena Air Base. Arriving in Okinawa City, he punched the driver in the face and ran away without paying the fare.

Robbery with bodily injury in Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture
Three U.S. military personnel on October 23 robbed a man of money in Ginowan City, resulting in bodily injuries.

A U.S. serviceman on August 18 injured a female employee using a knife in a Sasebo hotel to snatch cash from a hotel office.

Attempted murder in Fussa City, Tokyo
A U.S. airman on July 21 stabbed a man in the chest with a kitchen knife at a Fussa apartment with murderous intent.

Robbery in bodily injury in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo
A U.S. sailor with his Colombian girlfriend on July 2 assaulted a jewelry shop owner with a stun gun in Shinjuku and stole luxury jewelry and watches.

A U.S. serviceman on May 25 punched a woman IN her face with intent to rape her.

Two U.S. personnel on May 2 on an Okinawa street committed an assault on a man and stole cash.

Rape in Gushikawa City (currently Uruma City) in Okinawa Prefecture
A U.S. marine on November 2 attempted to rape a Philippine woman in her car parked in Gushikawa City.

Car theft in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Two U.S. service members on August 12 forcibly got into a woman's car stopping at a red light and threatened her with an air gun to steal her car.

A U.S. serviceman on August 11 punched a man IN his face to try to snatch money in a Yokosuka building room.

Serial muggers in Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Three U.S. personnel on August 1 in an Ebina street pulled a model-gun on a man to rob him of a cell-phone. On the same day, the three robbed another man of cash in the same way.

2001
Taxi holdup in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Three U.S. Navy sailors on September 5 stole a bag of cash from a taxi driver by beating him up as they got out of the taxi in Yokosuka City.

Rape in Chatan Town in Okinawa Prefecture
A U.S. air staff sergeant on June 29 raped an Okinawan woman on a car hood in a Chatan parking lot.

Serial arsons in Chatan Town, Okinawa Prefecture
A U.S. marine on January 15 set two bars on fire, leaving them in A state of destruction. On January 20, he again torched another bar, burning down five buildingS in total.
