JCP Vice-Chair meets with Vietnamese Parliament Representative

Japanese Communist Party Vice-Chair and International Bureau Director Ogata Yasuo met with Vietnamese National Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee Vice- Chair Ton Nu Thi Ninh on February 10 at JCP headquarters in Tokyo.

Ms. Ninh was visiting Japan at the invitation of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

Ogata expressed his gratitude for the attendance of Communist Party of Vietnam Politburo member Nguyen Khoa Diem to the JCP 24th Congress held in January. He explained the JCP Congress analysis of the changing international structure, including the major move for peace in Asia.

Ms. Ninh spoke about the Asian situation such as the developments of ASEAN and the APEC summit meeting which will be held in Hanoi next November. She also explained about the 10th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam to be held in April.

JCP International Bureau Vice-Chief and House of Representatives member Kasai Akira also attended the meeting.
