 JCP Ogata talks with former Indian ambassadorJapanese Communist Party Vice Chair and House of Councilors member Ogata Yasuo on March 3 attended a reception former Indian Ambassador Aftab Seth gave in Tokyo. Seth is a professor and the director of the Global Security Research Institute of Keio University. Ogata and Seth talked about the friendship they had developed during the tenure of the ambassador, and the preparation for JCP Chair Shii Kazuo's visit to India. They agreed that the JCP and the Indian government should continue to further develop their good relations at a time when the role of India is becoming more important in Asia and the rest of the world. - Akahata, March 4, 2006 |
