JCP Shii to have exchanges with South Korean people Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo announced that he plans to have exchanges with representatives of various fields in South Korea when he goes to Seoul to attend the 4th International Conference of Asian Political Parties to be held from September 7 to September 10. Shii will be the first JCP Chair to visit South Korea. The JCP delegation plans to arrive in Seoul on September 5 to offer flowers at the Seodaemun Prison, where under Japanese occupation independence movement activists were imprisoned, as well as have meetings with a wide range of South Korean people. - Akahata, August 24, 2006 |
