Shii: Abe cabinet lacks political ethics; Chief cabinet secretary suspected of being implicated in office expense scandal

Stressing that under the Abe Cabinet, ministers have been implicated one after another in corruption scandals and made outrageous remarks, Shii stated, “This cabinet has the lowest of political and ethical standards.”

 

JCP Shii visits quake-hit areas

At the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station, Shii stated, “As far as nuclear power plants are concerned, an excuse of ‘far greater than thought possible’ can never be acceptable. The government must review the current safety standards.”
