"Prime Minister Abe's act that amounts to abandoning the government reveals the fact that the LDP policy as a whole is on the verge of collapse. In other words, the failure of the LDP-Komei Party policy line underlies this event," said the JCP chair.
JCP Shii said, "While having been holding onto his post in defiance of the severe public criticism, the prime minister now says he will resign if he cannot fulfill the promise with the U.S. These remarks alone constitute a good reason for the public to force this cabinet into resignation."
The JCP delegation led by Vice Chair Ogata had a meeting with Bolivian Justice Minister Torrico in La Paz. The two sides agreed to establish relations between the JCP and the Bolivian government.
