U.S. sailor arrested for attack on 2 women near naval base in Yokosuka

 

   Kanagawa Police arrested a U.S. sailor on December 2 for allegedly assaulting two women on the street in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

 

   Jon Michael Cockrell, a 30-year-old Second Class Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy, is accused of attacking the women who were on their way home from work and giving them head injuries.

 

   The sailor, reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident, denied the charge, the police said.
