U.S. employee at Kadena AB arrested on suspicion of drug use
On March 1, police arrested a U.S. civilian employee at the U.S. Kadena Air Base in Okinawa on suspicion of using an illegal drug in violation of Japanfs Stimulants Control Law.
Police said that Manuel Taitano, a 42-year-old worker at the base, is suspected to have used the drug at an off-base house in Yomitan Village on February 29. Taitano reportedly admitted to the charges. - Akahata, March 3, 2008
