Okinawa police arrested two U.S. Marines on March 14, one on suspicion for allegedly obstructing official police duties and the other for alleged drunken driving. Lance Corporal Jamel Gary, 23, is suspected of drunken driving in Naha shortly before 1 a.m. on March 14. Private Christopher Brooks, 24, who was in Gary’s car, allegedly threw himself at a police officer, who was attempting to conduct an alcohol test on Gary. Both denied the allegations, police said. |
