Gensuikyo receives message from NPT Review Conference President
Japan Council against A & H Bombs (Japan Gensuikyo) on July 13 received a message from Libran Cabactulan, permanent representative of the Philippines at the United Nations, that expressed his hope for a success in the 2010 World Conference against A & H Bombs.

Is an SDF base at Djibouti only option against piracy?
The government decided to prolong for another year the period of operations of the Self-Defense Forces off Somalia based on the law to counter piracy. The government is also building an SDF base in neighboring Djibouti at the cost of four billion yen. The construction of the base is aimed at extending the anti-piracy operations of the SDF and showing off Japanfs military strength abroad.
