Sagawa Nobuhisa, a key figure in the scandal in regard to PM Abe’s alleged act of favoritism, testified in the Diet under oath. JCP Koike asked the witness questions about the falsification of official documents concerning the scandal.
The ruling parties used their majority to enact a bill to launch a Japanese representative office to NATO in Brussels, but the JCP warned that the opening of a Japanese NATO office could enhance the risk of becoming involved in military operation.
