Stop U.S. low-flight exercises in Japan

Sonic booms from low-altitude flight training exercises conducted by U.S. military aircraft are disturbing residents across Japan and causing growing concerns about possible plane crashes.

Finance Ministry budget plan does nothing to ease public anxieties

The need now is for the budget compilation, as presented by the JCP “proposal for emergency economic measures”, to prevent the burden of the failure of “casino capitalism” from being shifted onto workers, small businesses, and the general public; support people’s livelihoods; and increase domestic demand instead of depending on foreign demand in order to restructure the Japanese economy.

Shii requests that Keidanren urge its member companies to stop massive job cuts

Amid the ongoing massive dismissals of contingent workers, Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo met with a senior managing director of the Japan Business Federation (Nippon Keidanren) to request that the business organization urge its member companies to cancel their massive job cut plans.
