Peace is possible only when Japan is freed from the yoke of Security Treaty with US

Contradictions that emerged during the 50 years of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty cannot be erased by such an easy-going slogan as “once again redefining” the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty on its 50th anniversary. The only way to achieve true peace is for Japan to abrogate the military alliance with the United States.

Shii meets with Toyota’s top executives at JCP headquarters

Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo met with Toyota Motor Corporation executives and said, “Toyota is Japan’s leading manufacturer. It must bear a heavy social responsibility in spearheading the massive layoffs being implemented by large corporations”

We will make history by winning in upcoming House of Representatives general election

We have entered an historic year in which we will engage in a general election, a political battle that will provide a good opportunity for the JCP to emerge victorious if we use all our abilities and energies of the party and the JCP supporters’ associations.
