How JCP responds to policy differences with other coalition parties after formation of new gov't

If the JCP engages in "Cabinet cooperation", ministers from the JCP will, as a matter of course, work together in a united stance of a coalition government regarding the issues of the SDF, the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty, and the Emperor system.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games. Although no one can say for sure how the situation will be by the summer of next year, it is necessary to abide by the basic principles of Olympism.

Koike in TV debate calls for fully utilizing COVID-19 testing capacity

The daily testing capacity for COVID-19 infections is 8,000 in Japan at present. Saying that only 1,300 people per day are tested, JCP Secretariat Head Koike demanded measures so that all those who are deemed to need a PCR test can receive the test.
