A male crewmember of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan deployed to the U.S. Navy Yokosuka base was arrested on November 4 after causing a minor car accident on a public road in Yokosuka City in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The police detected an alcohol level higher than the legal limit in the breath analysis of the 28-year-old petty officer at the time of his arrest.
