JCP delegation led by Fuwa to visit Vietnam for theoretical discussion

September 16, 2008
A Japanese Communist Party delegation led by Fuwa Tetsuzo, director of the JCP Social Sciences Institute, will visit Vietnam from September 23 for theoretical discussions with the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The five-member delegation includes JCP Executive Committee Vice Chair Hamano Tadao.

The JCP and the CPV agreed to hold theoretical discussions when JCP Chair Shii Kazuo visited Vietnam in January 2007 and held talks with CPV General Secretary Nong Duc Manh. The two parties hope to use the discussions to further develop JCP-CPV relations in the 21st century.

The first theoretical discussion was held in November 2007 at the JCP head office in Tokyo.
