Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on November 30 in Tokyo met with visiting International Conference of Asian Political Parties chair, Jose de Venesia, who is also a former Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.

They exchanged views on how to solve disputes and to develop peace and security in the Asian region.
