Shii sends congratulatory message to Bolivian President Evo Morales

January 24, 2015
Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on January 22 sent a congratulatory message to Bolivian President Evo Morales who was sworn in for his second term under Bolivia’s new constitution. The message is as follows:

Please accept our heartfelt congratulations on taking the presidential oath of office for a second term.

We expect that the government that you lead as Bolivia’s president will respond to Bolivian people’s expectations indicated in the presidential election and continue to make significant progress in achieving the economic and social improvement for the majority by putting emphasis on people’s livelihoods and social welfare programs.

We hope that relations of friendship and solidarity between your nation and the JCP will develop even further.
