Abe's resignation shows the failure of the LDP-Komei policy line: JCP Shii

"Prime Minister Abe's act that amounts to abandoning the government reveals the fact that the LDP policy as a whole is on the verge of collapse. In other words, the failure of the LDP-Komei Party policy line underlies this event," said the JCP chair.

 

Abe declares he will stake his prime ministership on anti-terrorism law extension

JCP Shii said, "While having been holding onto his post in defiance of the severe public criticism, the prime minister now says he will resign if he cannot fulfill the promise with the U.S. These remarks alone constitute a good reason for the public to force this cabinet into resignation."

 

JCP establishes relationship with Bolivian government

The JCP delegation led by Vice Chair Ogata had a meeting with Bolivian Justice Minister Torrico in La Paz. The two sides agreed to establish relations between the JCP and the Bolivian government.
