Warning that the latest World Trade Organization draft of an agreement on agriculture, if implemented, will have a catastrophic effect on Japanese agriculture, the progressive farmersf association and a coalition of organizations of farmers, workers, and consumers urged the government to reject it.

Urge Obama to fulfill promise to abolish nuclear weapons: Japan Gensuikyo
At a national meeting of the Japan Council against A & H Bombs (Japan Gensuikyo), Secretary General Taka Hiroshi said, gSome argue that a change might be brought by the next U.S. administration led by Barack Obama.
