It is absurd that Ozawa approves his aidefs exit from DPJ
Amid the money scandal concerning his fund managing bodyfs land purchase, DPJ Secretary General Ozawa Ichiro consented to the request made by his former aide, who has been indicted for alleged involvement in a false report about funds for a land purchase of the Ozawafs fund managing organization, to terminate his membership in the party. It is unacceptable to put an end to the Ozawafs scandal in such a farcical manner. 

Consumption tax increases to cover tax revenue shortfall?
Advocates of a consumption tax increase insist that a decline in tax revenues and an increase in basic expenditures will result in difficulties in fiscal management. In reality, however, corporate tax breaks are the main cause of the fall in tax revenues.
