  • JCP Kira receives most support from women and non-affiliated voters in Tokyo

    Kira Yoshiko of the Japanese Communist Party, who won a seat in the Tokyo constituency where 32 candidates contested for seven seats in the July 20 House of Councilors election, received the most support from women and unaffiliated voters.

  • Japan in exchange for 15% tariffs will have to promote 550-billion-dollar investment in US

    Japan will face 15% tariffs on its exports to the U.S., increase imports of U.S.-produced rice, and provide up to 550 billion dollars in support for Japanese companies investing in the U.S. JCP EC Chair Tamura criticized the agreement reached in the Japan-U.S. trade deals, stating, “This is not what PM Ishiba describes as a ‘win-win’ situation.”
