US sailor arrested for assaulting woman

Police on February 2 arrested a U.S. sailor for assaulting a woman in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture.

The arrested man is a petty officer second class stationed at the U.S. Navy Sasebo Base.

According to police, the man in his condo grabbed his girlfriend by the collar and threw her to the floor.
