‘Citizens-opposition parties coalition’ 10 years after enactment of war laws

Ten years have passed since “war laws” were forcibly enacted. Calling for the abolition of the laws, concerned citizens formed the “Civil Alliance” which then evolved to a joint struggle with pro-constitutional opposition parties.

JCP EC Chair Tamura: Israel’s attack on Qatar is ‘outrageous violation of sovereignty’

JCP EC Chair Tamura stated that Israel’s attack on the Qatari capital of Doha two days earlier was “an act of barbarism that violates Qatar’s sovereignty,” and added, “I firmly condemn Israel’s repeated blatant violations of international law.”
