12 laid-off workers sue Isuzu Motors

Twelve contingent workers who have received dismissal notices from Isuzu Motors Limited filed a lawsuit on April 2 with the Tokyo District Court against the automaker, arguing that they had long been forced to work as “disguised independent contractors” and that they have the legal right to continue to work as full-time workers.

Scrap bill to ratify Guam Treaty

There is no sane alternative but to scrap such a reckless agreement after a thorough discussion. Japan is called upon to halt the plan to realign U.S. forces in Japan in order to keep Japan as a non-aggressor nation based on equal Japan-U.S. relations.
