Tokyo Governor decides not to send annual condolences to Korean victims of 1923 quake

The Korean Residents Union in Japan (Mindan) sent Governor Koike a letter urging her to send a condolence message to the memorial ceremony for the 1923 massacre victims as has been conventionally done by previous governors.

7th JCP-CPV theoretical exchange held in Tokyo

The Japanese Communist Party delegation headed by Fuwa Tetsuzo, the director of the JCP-affiliated Social Sciences Institute, and the Communist Party of Vietnam delegation held their theoretical exchange meetings at the JCP head office in Tokyo.

Shii issues statement condemning N. Korea’s missile launch

Following North Korea’s ballistic missile launch early in the early morning hours of August 29, Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on this day published a statement urging the North to stop its provocative actions.
