JCP Kokuta comments on record-low approval rating for Suga Cabinet

The approval rating for the Suga Cabinet dropped to a record-low of 29% and the disapproval rating hit a record 52%. The support rating for the LDP-led Cabinet fell below 30% for the first time since the party returned to power in 2012.

JCP Koike renews resolution to defend Article 9 on End of WWII Day

August 15 is the Day marking the end of World War II. More than 20 million people in the Asia-Pacific region and more than three million people in Japan were killed. JCP Secretariat Head Koike on this day expressed his determination to make an all-out effort to defend the war-renouncing Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution.
