Koike: Gov’t should stay vigilant against coronavirus even after ending nationwide state of emergency

Superintending Prosecutor at the Tokyo High Public Prosecutors Office Kurokawa Hiromu resigned from his post over a scandal in which he engaged in mahjong gambling with newspaper journalists during the nationwide state of emergency.

JCP Shii: International community should unite to control COVID-19 pandemic

JCP Chair Shii released a statement entitled, "For Global Solidarity and Cooperation to Overcome COVID-19 Pandemic". The statement was conveyed to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom, and permanent and non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
