Okinawa takes central government to court

The Okinawa prefectural government again filed a lawsuit against the central government with the Fukuoka District Court Naha Branch over the issue of Henoko landfill work for the construction of a new U.S. base in Okinawa's Nago City.

Henoko dugong found dead

A dead dugong, a marine mammal, was found floating off the coast of Nakijin Village in Okinawa. It is believed to be one of only three dugongs which were confirmed sighted in the waters off Henoko before the construction work for a U.S. base began.

Unjust attack on JCP for purpose of weakening opposition parties’ intra-Diet collaboration (part I)
