Opposition parties affirm common pledges for Upper House election

Aiming to defeat the Prime Minister Abe Shinzo-led ruling coalition in the Upper House election in July, the Japanese Communist Party and four other opposition parties agreed on a 13-point common election pledge which includes the revocation of the war laws.
