The Japanese Communist Party and other opposition parties decided to work together to rescue and support the victims of heavy rains now hitting the country and achieve disaster recovery in the affected region.
Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike at a press conference said, “In cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the central government should immediately take measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infections.”
Japanese Communist Party lawmaker Tamura Tomoko urged the government to improve support measures for foreign residents, in particular foreign trainees, who are experiencing financial difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
