PM Takaichi wants to abandon the national principle of ‘not allowing bringing-in of nukes to Japan’

Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae, who has been advocating for the bringing-in of U.S. nuclear weapons to Japan, does not deserve to lead the only country to have suffered from atomic bombings in war.

Just because Takaichi becomes first female prime minister of Japan does not mean that she will work to advance gender equality

Takaichi Sanae became Japan’s first female prime minister. Some may hope that this will lead to the elimination of deep-rooted gender stereotypes. However, she is one of the strong opponents of promoting women’s human rights.

LDP-Ishin coalition government inaugurated, aiming to reduce number of proportional representation Diet seats

LDP President Takaichi Sanae was elected the 104th prime minister. She launched a coalition government with the Osaka-based “Nippon Ishin no Kai” party. The LDP-Ishin coalition will likely become the worst regime in Japan’s postwar history.
