Introduction of ‘emergency clause’ to Constitution unacceptable as it leads to authoritarian abuse of power

For more than 80 years since the end of the war, as was the case with the 2011 Great East Japan Disaster and the corona pandemic, there has been no situation too difficult to be addressed due to the lack of an emergency clause in the Constitution.
