Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Shii Kazuo on December 2 attended a reception held in Tokyo to welcome the arrival of new South Korean Ambassador Lee Hyuk.

The event was hosted by the cross-party Japan-ROK parliamentarians’ union and the Japan-Korea Friendship Association Federation. Along with Shii, JCP Executive Committee Chair Tamura Tomoko and Policy Commission Chair Yamazoe Taku also participated in the reception.

Shii delivered a welcome speech and had warm conversations with the ambassador.
