Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira (Senate), a vice chair of the Japan-Korea parliamentarians’ union, on October 2 attended a reception celebrating South Korea’s National Day. The event took place at a Tokyo hotel and was hosted by the South Korean Embassy in Japan.

Koike congratulated South Korean Ambassador to Japan Lee Hyuk and had conversations with attendees from both Japan and abroad.
