Japanese Communist Party lawmaker Iwabuchi Tomo (Senate) and former JCP lawmaker Kasai Akira attended a reception held on October 30 in Tokyo to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of Turkish National Day (Cumhuriyet Bayramı or Republic Day).

Iwabuchi expressed her congratulations to Turkish Ambassador to Japan Oguzhan Ertugrul and had conversations with attendees both from Japan and abroad.
