Shii, Fuwa attend China’s National Day reception
Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo and JCP Social Sciences Institute Director Fuwa Tetsuzo on September 29 attended a reception held at a Tokyo hotel to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China.
They congratulated Chinese Ambassador to Japan Cheng Yonghua and held pleasant chats with Japanese and foreign participants there.
JCP Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo, House of Representatives members Kokuta Keiji and Kasai Akira, House of Councilors member Inoue Satoshi, and JCP International Commission Secretary Morihara Kimitoshi also attended the reception.
Shii attends S. Korean reception
JCP Chair Shii Kazuo on September 30 attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of South Korea held at a Tokyo hotel on the occasion of the Japan-ROK exchange festival and South Korea’s National Foundation Day.
Shii offered his congratulations to Ambassador to Japan Shin Gak Su and ROK-Japan Parliamentarians League Chair Lee Sang-Deuk.
The festival has taken place both in Japan and South Korea since 2005, the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea.
JCP Diet Policy Commission Chair Kokuta Keiji was also present at the reception.
