Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira (House of Councilors) attended an event held at a Tokyo hotel on June 14 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan.

Koike congratulated Kim Bang Soo, the president of the KCCI Japan, and Yuh Keun-ie, the president of the Korean Residents Union in Japan (Mindan), on the founding anniversary. He also had talks with party guests, including Yun Dukmin, the South Korean ambassador to Japan.
