Fuwa meets with CPC International Department head

April 23, 2009
Social Sciences Institute Director Fuwa Tetsuzo of the Japanese Communist Party on April 21 in Beijing held talks with Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China.

Fuwa was in Beijing for theoretical exchange meetings with the Communist Party of China.

Welcoming Fuwa and his entourage, Wang stated that the third CPC-JCP theoretical exchange meeting could be marked as a major event.

He said, “I think it is of great significance for the CPC-JCP exchanges to focus on the current global financial crisis,” adding that he wishes for further success in the talks.

After thanking Wang for receiving him, Fuwa stated, “For us who have been engaging in various struggles in capitalist Japan amid the global economic crisis, studying the theories of economic crises has required unprecedented in-depth research.”

“Various problems raised from the CPC side so far in the current talks, each with a grand strategic perspective, are very intellectually stimulating,” Fuwa added.

After the talks, Wang held a lunch with Fuwa and his entourage.
