Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ichida Tadayoshi on June 11 attended a reception celebrating the National Day of the Russian Federation held at the Russian Embassy in Tokyo.

Ichida offered congratulations to Russian Ambassador to Japan Evgeny Afanasiev and had friendly conversations with other guests.
