Aomori JCP protests against US Osprey low-altitude flight drills over longline fishery lake

The Japanese Communist Party Aomori Prefectural Committee and the JCP prefectural assemblymembers’ group demanded that the prefectural government protest against ultralow altitude flights by two U.S. Osprey aircraft over a longline fishery lake.

Zenroren calls on JCP to work with other opposition parties to realize a government supportive of workers’ demands

The National Confederation of Trade Unions (Zenroren) held talks with the JCP, requesting that the party team up with other opposition parties in the upcoming general election in order to realize a government which will meet workers’ demands.

The head of the Yamaha English Teachers' Union reported that teachers at Yamaha English Academy which is operated nationwide by Yamaha Music Japan can become "company employees" if they wish.
