Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Shii Kazuo commented on Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru’s avoidance of criticizing the United States for bombing Iranian nuclear facilities, on his X account on June 22 as follows:

PM Ishiba is avoiding making any criticism of the U.S. attack on Iran, saying only that the situation should be calmed down at an early date and that Iran’s nuclear development program should be thwarted.

When Israel attacked Iran, Japan in a Foreign Ministry statement “strongly condemned” the attack, so why does PM Ishiba this time avoid criticism of the U.S. which has committed the same outrage as Israel? This is nothing short of a shameful attitude of being a U.S. vassal state.
